Reading Groups

The Innovations in Publishing Research Hub holds regular reading groups, providing an open space to critically engage with and discuss relevant topics in publishing research. In many cases we are able to invite the authors of the titles so we can engage in discussion about their research. The chosen readings for these sessions will be confirmed closer to the respective dates. To join our upcoming reading groups, sign up to our mailing list here.

CREATIVE PUBLISHING SYMPOSIUM – 26th May 2026

The IPRH’s UAL Creative Publishing Network will be meeting again on 26 May, 10:30–12:00 at London College of Communication. The event will be hybrid, though in-person attendance is warmly encouraged.

This gathering follows on from the Network’s meeting last June, where members began sharing and mapping the range of publishing research and practice taking place across UAL. The aim this time is to pick up those conversations, hear more about members’ projects and continue building a picture of what publishing means across the university’s disciplines.

Those attending are invited to present something about their work — the format and direction is entirely open. It is an internal session, intended as an informal space for UAL researchers, lecturers and students to connect and share.

Refreshments will be provided for those joining in person. For those unable to attend on the day, there will be the option to join online.

To RSVP or to express interest in presenting, please contact Frania directly at f.hall@lcc.arts.ac.uk.
